DHG Racing delivered a strong performance on home soil. During the Historic Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, David and Olivier Hart competed in multiple classes, bringing home a large haul of podium finishes and victories.
In the Masters Endurance Legends, David and Olivier shared a lightning-fast Renault RS01. Qualifying fourth in this car, used for both endurance and sprint races—the duo faced off against faster sports cars that had recently seen action at Le Mans. Despite the competition, David and Olivier secured a fourth and a third place overall across the two races, along with two impressive victories in the GT class. A more than excellent start to the weekend.
David and Olivier also shared the Shelby Cobra Daytona in the Masters Gentlemen Drivers class, securing an outstanding pole position in qualifying. DHG Racing was the fastest with a margin of 2.5 seconds. In the ninety-minute endurance race, the team fought a tough battle in a full grid of other Cobras, TVRs, and Ferraris. A podium finish seemed likely for a long time until engine problems caused the Cobra to drop back, relegating the team to fourth place on the final lap.
In the Masters Sports Car Legends, David and Olivier competed with the beautiful Ferrari 512LM. They set a strong time in qualifying, good enough for second place. However, gearbox issues thwarted their plans, forcing the team to switch to the Lola T70 and start from the back of the grid in both races. While the team retired in the first race, David and Olivier fought back impressively in the second to claim third place in a field full of 1970s sports cars.
In the Dutch Super Sixties championship, David and Olivier once again shared the Shelby Cobra Daytona, with which they remained dominant throughout the weekend. With a pole position and two convincing victories, the DHG Racing team brought the weekend to a magnificent close.
