On March 2nd, the final race of the WEK FINAL 4 took place at Circuit Zandvoort, with a large number of Porsches in contention for victory.
For David and Olivier Hart, a podium finish was another challenge, something they didn’t achieve this time. With an eighth-place practice time, slightly disappointing due to track limits, Hart Junior made a good start and, within a few laps, established himself in the top three, where a fierce battle ensued.
Olivier kept up well with this Porsche parade, but in the first hour, he encountered a recalcitrant wheel bearing that destroyed the ABS sensor and, to make matters worse, also destroyed the driveshaft. End of story for the Hart duo. David had to leave his helmet in the pits, and he didn’t get a single race lap in the Speedlover Porsche.
