The 2024 historic motorsport season kicks off for DHG Racing this weekend during the Mugello Classic. On the iconic Italian circuit, a stone’s throw from Florence, David and Olivier Hart are participating in three different classes, in each of which they are contenders for the victory.

The kick-off in the Classic Endurance Racing 1 class will be headed by the historic Ferrari 512M. David and Olivier share the Italian thoroughbred in the class that brings back a mythical era of endurance racing: the late 60s and early 70s.

The Ferrari takes on sports cars from the likes of Lola, McLaren, Porsche, and Ford in a 60-minute endurance race.

No fewer than 40 cars will take to the track in the Endurance Racing Legends race for prototypes and GTs from the 90s and 2000s. David and Olivier Hart drive the lightning-fast Courage C60 Judd. The French LMP1 prototype, built within the walls of the Le Mans circuit, faces stiff competition from Audi, Bentley, Lola, and Maserati, but in the hands of David and Olivier, it should be capable of competing at the front. The Endurance Racing Legends race twice in 40-minute sessions.

The duo also races with the Peugeot 905 prototype in the Group C events, in which prototypes from the 80s and early 90s participate. The Peugeot, still a favourite among motorsport fans today, features a screaming V10 and extreme aerodynamics and will be audible for miles. David and Olivier race for 45 minutes twice and will take on competition aboard Jaguars and Porsches for the victory.
