DHG Racing performed excellently during the Spa Classic event last weekend. Drivers David and Olivier Hart and Nicky Pastorelli competed in no fewer than four races and scored outstanding results in the Belgian Ardennes.
In the CER 1 class, intended for sports cars from the sixties and early seventies, the weekend started excellently for David and Olivier Hart. During qualifying, the duo achieved a lightning-fast time that was not only good enough for pole position but was also more than two seconds faster than the closest competition.
In the race, the Lola T70 MK3B again proved to be by far the fastest, and the DHG team drove to a sovereign victory. However, after the race, the team was handed a full-lap penalty due to an error during the pit stop, meaning the victory could not be fully celebrated.

In the CER 2 class, Nicky Pastorelli competed with the Ferrari 512BBLM, a car that has been thoroughly overhauled, refined, and prepared for the season by the team over the past few months. That preparation paid off with an excellent time in qualifying, allowing the Ferrari to start not only fourth overall but also as the best in the GT2 class. This form continued in the race, and in a field of 28 classic GTs and sports cars, Nicky again finished fourth overall and as the winner in the class.
The Group C era is known as one of the golden ages of endurance racing, and in this class, for prototypes from 1981 to 1993, David Hart competed with the Lola T92-10. Armed with the beautiful-sounding Judd V10, he was well-placed in qualifying and could keep up with the best in the large starting field full of Porsches, Jaguars, and Peugeots until a technical problem thwarted their plans and ended the weekend aboard the Lola.

The highlight of the event was the two-hour Sixties Endurance race, for which no fewer than 86 teams had registered and in which David and Olivier were at the start with the Bizzarrini 5300 GT. A problem during qualifying meant the Italian supercar had to start at the very back, but in the following 120 minutes, the DHG Racing team provided one of the comebacks of the weekend. Lap after lap, David and Olivier fought their way back to the front to ultimately finish fourth, a short distance from the winner and with the fastest lap in their pocket.

And with that, the weekend at Spa-Francorchamps was also one of excellent results for DHG Racing, showing plenty of potential for the rest of the season.
