DHG Racing performed excellently during the Historic Grand Prix at Zandvoort. With two victories for David and Olivier Hart, the Dutch team was highly successful on home soil.
Before the event began, the debut of the Ferrari 512M was eagerly anticipated. In the Masters Sports Car Legends class, the Italian thoroughbred did not disappoint in the hands of David and Olivier. In qualifying, the DHG Racing team already secured pole position, which was converted into a magnificent victory over very strong opposition in the first race. This feat seemed set to be repeated in the second race, where the Ferrari was again on its way to victory after a strong start by David. However, a puncture caused a second consecutive win to slip through their fingers.

This small blemish on the weekend was, however, more than rectified by Olivier in the Gentlemen Drivers class for GTs from the sixties. Olivier qualified third with the Shelby Cobra Daytona. After a strong start, he settled into second place behind the Cobra of Julian Thomas and Calum Lockie. A wonderful battle followed, with Olivier taking the lead on the 24th lap. Pulling away was not possible in the dunes, however, and with a few laps to go, the DHG Cobra briefly lost the lead. Olivier fought back, and after 75 minutes of racing, the margin at the line was less than a second, but in favour of DHG Racing.

As such, the event at Zandvoort was more than successful. A beautiful debut for the Ferrari 512M and a great battle that lasted until the finish with the Cobra Daytona; it leaves one wanting more.
