A very good result for David Hart with the Lola at Spa Francorchamps during the Spa Classic event in the Patrick Peter Series.
This time, David had to go it alone without his regular teammate Nicky Pastorelli, and only one car was raced instead of the multiple cars the DHG team normally brings.
With a P7 in qualifying, we were reasonably satisfied at this most challenging circuit of the year. There were plenty of opportunities for the Lola T70 to move forward in this strong field.
After a fantastic start from David, he quickly moved forward on the first lap and, on the first lap, crossed the finish line first, a position he held on to.
This resulted in the Lola crossing the finish line first, more than 17 seconds clear, securing the victory.
David’s strong performance bodes well for the upcoming races of the season with the Lola.
